Abstract


This study aimed to identify the relationship between quality of life and
academic procrastination among students، and to detect the differences
in the behavior of academic procrastination and quality of life of
respondents in light of some variables. The study sample consisted of
153 students from the students of the department of special education،
King Saud University. The researcher used the descriptive approach،
and the following tools were applied: The scale of the quality of
academic life (prepared by the researcher)، and the scale of the academic
procrastination (prepared by the researcher). Among the most important
results of the findings:
_ There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores
of students of the department of special education on the quality of
academic life scale in its three aspects، attributed to variable of rate for
the benefit of the higher rate، the age variable for the benefit of the older
age. There are no statistically significant differences between the mean
scores of the students of special education department on the academic
procrastinationscaleattri butedtothepathvariable.Therearestatistically
significant differences between the mean scores of the students of special
education department on the academic procrastination scale attributed to
the smaller average variable، smaller age.
