Abstract

مستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على مفهوم الشعر الشعبيِّ القوميِّ في السودان، مع التركيز على جانب الأوزان والموسيقى فيه، ومعرِّفة بعض موضوعاته التي تناولها. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، واستندت على مفاهيم علم العروض وتطبيقاته على عينات متنوِّعة من هذا الشعر. خلصت هذه الدراسة إلى أن "الشعر الشعبي" هو المصطلح الذي اختاره شعراء البوادي لشعرهم، وليس المصطلح الشائع "دوبيت". وإنَّ أقرب الأوزان الشعرية للشعر الشعبي في السودان هو وزن بحر الهزج، مع وجود بعض الاختلافات. هنالك الكثير من التجوُّز في أوزانه، مما ينتج عنه أنماط من التراكيب الموسيقية غير المألوفة. وقد ارتبطت أغراض الشعر الشعبي بالبيئة الريفية وما يتصل بها من اهتمام بالمرأة والإبل.

Abstract: This study aims at exploring the concept of national folk poetry in Sudan, with a particular emphasis on its music and rhythm, shedding light on some of the subjects and themes it deals with. The study adopted the descriptive approach; it is based on the concepts of the Arabic prosody and its application to different samples of this poetry. The study concludes that "folk poetry" is the term chosen by the poets of the wilderness for this genre of their poetry, rather than the popular term dÜbēt. The closest poetic meter (baÊr) to folk poetry in Sudan is BaÊr al-Hazaj (the Hazaj meter), albeit it is not hard to find some deviations from it. In fact, many rhythmical anomalies can be observed in Sudanese folk poetry, which result in patterns of unfamiliar musical compositions. The themes of folk poetry are associated with the rural and pastoral environment and the related concern for women and camels.
