Abstract

Ethics is one of core, representing Islamic World View and its
concepts that illustrate life, human, cosmos and human society.
This paper aims at : explicating the structure of ethics in Islam
and its social significance as well as showing that the ethics is a
basis of social structure in Islam. Further, it asserts that the
ethics system is on the top of human’s maturity hierarchy and is
a response for the values of human’s inborn nature and Islamic
teachings.
The analytical inductive methodology is used with the focus
on analyzing Qur’anic morphemes, associated with ethics and
the wide concatenations and distinctions of these morphemes


together with the indication of social significances and
dimensions.
The study concludes that the ethics system in Islam is
interconnected with Qur’an and Sunnah and it fully befits the
inborn nature’s spheres, the sane mind and enlightened inner
heart. Further, it accentuates that Islam presents practical
example for ethics social dimensions as it is gained from the
Protest’s (Peace be upon him) life and Muslims society in
Madinah and after the succeeding eras of Islamic history.
The study recommends that an in-depth illustrations of social
and practical aspects of ethics in Islam is essentially needed.
Additionally, scholars should concentrate on putting the social
framework for ethics and its roles that will be the
responsibilities of institutions, activities and works,
representing the social depth of ethics.
