Pseudo xanthoma elasticum (PXE) is a rare genetic disorder of elastic tissues. It is also known as Gronblad-
Strandberg syndrome, but this is not used in the present time(1). It is a multisystem disorder with protean
neuro-occular, vascular and skin manifestations. We report an unusual presentation of this disease in the form
of progressive spastic tetraparesis in a young man. No similar case, to the best of our knowledge has been
reported previously in the literature.
