Case Reports Aggressive clinical presentation of Mycetoma due to Actinomadura Pelletierii

Abstract


This is a report on a 55 year- old, HIV negative male patient who presented with wide spread, aggressive actinomycetoma due to Actinomadura pelletierii. He was not responding to multiple surgical excisions or drug
therapy.There was evidence of dissemination of the actinomycete through the blood stream.
