Amin Kamal Ahmed, Suleiman Hussein Suleiman, Ahmed Hassan Fahal

This is a report on a 35-years-old male teacher from Central Sudan who presented with an aggressive
uncontrolled right gluteal eumycetoma caused by M. Mycetomatis of 16 years duration. It eventually
invaded the pelvic cavity and lower spinal cord in spite of the long term medical treatment and repeated
aggressive excisions that culminated in right hip disarticulation and hemi-pelvic surgical intervention.
