To monitor cropping pattern and cropping intensity excessive field measurements have been carried out during summer season (2013-2014) in ''Abd Aziz'' minor canal and it has been concluded that;
- Due to Gezira scheme act, 2005 a lot of problems in cropping pattern and cropping intensity have arisen, where more than one crop has been grown within one "Number".
