Abstract

This research examines the literary works of Viktor Pelevin as a reflection of trends in Russian literature over
recent decades. It aims to introduce Arabic readers and literature enthusiasts to his contributions, the prevailing
literary and critical movements, and the interplay between society and reading, as well as modern publishing
practices. The researcher employed historical and analytical methodologies to draw these conclusions: Pelevin's
literary contributions are representative of currents in contemporary Russian literature and reflect the
aspirations of literary circles in Russia. His works strive to uncover various troubling aspects of modern society
through satire and humor, employing elements of mythology and imagined autobiography.
