Abstract

This Study came under the title: The nostalgic poetry to the cities of the Northern Sudan in the Sudanese poetry,
the paper aimed to make introduction by the nostalgic poetry in the Su-danese cities, and the poets of their cities,
and introduction by the emitters of the nostalgic to their homes and its impetus, the study arrived to that, the
Sudanese poets has extension in the Arabic poetry from the ancient and has a bright roots, the study came in the
three themes, the first theme under the title:. The study arrived to many results, one of them, the memories of the
past is integral part of the sensation by the nostalgic, and the nostalgic poetries said in all the types of art, and
the poets of the nostalgic pay attention to the structure of the poem, and the internal music which it contribute
to enriching the poetry of nostalgia to their homes. Also the study made several recommendations, the important
one: the necessity of taking care by the study of the poetry of the cities and expand it, to make complete
introduction about the Sudanese cities, its characteristics and nature through a curriculum.
