Abstract

This paper comes under the title historical shrines in Khartoum city as a documenting study for buildings that
make architectural heritage for Khartoum old area and take its valuable history that which it gets for its
architectural style. or its associated with religion or economics. or social policy events that lead us to get
knowledge about the information associated with it. According to historical method descriptive which depend on
references scientific and resources and field work. this paper was written to highlight for the history building in
Khartoum old area which its example for Islamic architectural in Sudan and the ability to make these buildings
shrines and keep them and restoration maintenance them so as to make use of it in the economic, tourism, and
education and to keep physical inheritance and to have unity and peace.
