Abstract

This research aims to investigate Syntactically in the Arabic verb: (Laissa) and similar words. The research
followed the descriptive analytical method, by following what syntacians have mentioned about this issue; to
clarify it with evidence. The research concluded that (Laissa) is a verb, even if it does not conjugate like other
verbs, and the analogy is that (Laissa) acts like (Kana). The research concluded that (Ma) acts like (Laissa), but
doesn’t always, and (Ma) only acts based on (Laissa) by negating the State. The research also concluded that
(La) only acts with indefinite nouns, and if it does, it does so rarely. Also, that (Lata) is originally (La), with the
addition of 'ta’, so, the connection of the ‘ta’ to (La) made it specific to the noun and verbally similar to (Laissa);
therefore, it acts like (Al-Hain) in particular, and if it enters into another tense, it is a preposition. And in actual
is that with (In) acting like (Laissa) based on the evidence of hearing from Arabs, and its being based on (Ma).
