Abstract

This research aims to study the available technical capabilities of radio which represent one of the basic factors of broadcasting process, identifying its usage in the Sudanese radio through Dukan Wad Al-Baseer programme in the period (2016-2017). The research adopts the descriptive and historical approach and the survey method. To collect the data, the researcher depends on a number of secondary sources like books, periodicals, journals and the internet, as well as primary resources like interviews with experts in the field of radio in general and drama in particular in addition to some academia in the communication field. The most important findings of the research are that Dukan Wad Al-Baseer programme depended on a number of technical capabilities specifically the human voice using the colloquial language that affects listeners of the programme. All the effects used were either natural or human no created ones were employed, so the technical capabilities were not properly employed in Dukan Wad Al-Baseer programme.
