This research aimed to evaluate French Language book for the third grade from the point of view of the secondary school teachers both males and females in Jubal Awlia in Khartoum State through tackling the dimensions Curriculum – (content) – objectives teaching method – Teaching method – Teaching aids – evaluation and finally Book format and authored. As for the research population composed of the secondary school teachers of Jubal Awlia locality in Khartoum State. The number was (25) subtest and the sample of the research comprised of (25) Teachers chosen which considered as the where population. The research tool was the questionnaire and the data analysis was done by the statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Purposively, of the research came out with the following results:
The curriculum is not suitable for the secondary stage students, That the objectives of teaching French Language are not clear for the teachers and are not written neither in the introduction of the book nor in the beginning of each unit. The teaching aids and Illustrative means are not sufficient and satisfy and purpose for which was written. The book format is appropriate book in terms of composition and output and finally the following recommendations were presented: Establishment of complete language laboratories in the schools in order to attract students to learn French. The researchers suggest that the subject must be compulsory in all schools and therefore recruiting teacher for each school.
