موافقات الجوهري في صحاحه للمذهب الكوفي النحوي باعتماده آراء الفراء

Abstract

This research aims to retrieve the grammatical issues in which Al-Jawhari (in his dictionary Taj al- Lugha wa sahah al- Arabiyya) concurred with the Kufi grammatical school of thought, inwhich he cited and relied on Al-Farra's grammatical opinions. The researchers used a descriptive, analytical, inductive, and deductive approach in this research, as it is an approach
suitable for the study of linguistics. They then reached the important conclusion that Al-Jawhari was a grammarian (despite his reputation as being a linguist) and had unique grammatical opinions in his dictionary Al-Sahah. He tended to follow the Kufi school of thought. In addition, Al-Jawhari quoted Al-Fara's grammatical points of view more often than he quoted those of Sibawyh (the imam of the Basra school) in his dictionary Taj al- Lugha wa -Sahah al- Arabiyya.
