The University of Khartoum Engineering Journal (UofKEJ) operates a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity. Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening for scope, originality, and compliance with ethical and technical requirements. Eligible manuscripts are then evaluated by three independent expert reviewers with relevant subject-matter expertise, selected to ensure impartiality and the absence of conflicts of interest. Reviewers assess the scientific merit, originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution of the work and provide constructive, evidence-based recommendations. Based on the reviewers reports, the Handling Editor makes a recommendation, and the Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision. All submissions are treated as confidential, and the journal adheres to internationally recognized ethical standards throughout the review process.
